Digital Portfolios (ePortfolios)
Creating an ePortfolio is a great way for students to present their work to teachers, future employers, scholarship committees and to the world. ePortfolios can be used to showcase their best work, demonstrate progress in learning, or to submit and evaluate keystone projects to teachers.
There are many options for creating an ePortfolio and you should look to find the solution that will work the best for you and your students. I recommend using Weebly for digital portfolios because it is easy to use and has some great features to help you make a great website without a lot of effort. The handout to the right will walk you through the steps to building a basic website using Weebly. From there you can explore and experiment to customize your website to your needs. If you get stuck, check out Weebly's help page for video tutorials. Or you can fill out the form on the Contact Us page with your questions. |
